One of our youngest members (little sister of...) was even most pleased with the handle bar streamers, they were fitted at the end of her bike tune up.
Today was the day that Fawcett regular and general all round good guy
Henry Boateng finally got his run around BMX sorted. It only took two
months. That rare seat post was a real problem - but at last the part
was found; phew!
Abrahim and the gift bike that has kept on giving since 1983. This eighties mountain bike has something about it (rust) Tonight we took several steps to restoring the
Pegasus into better shape; an urban horse with history. We upgraded the front wheel from steel to alloy, made a much needed headset adjustment, fitted front and rear reflectors, tuned up the brakes, and had a go at adjusting the bottom bracket. Sadly this last job was not possible during the session due to it being rusted in. We doused the adjustable bearing cup with WD40 penetrating fluid with the hope that it will be free next week.
Not too much oil on chain and see you next week.
