2017 is Interlinkx CiC & CC Hackney's tenth year.

Due to Covid 19 virus all club face to face activities are suspended until further notice. Please check CC Hackney's website for news updates and how to stay in touch during this period.

The news in 2020 is that Interlinkx has been
converted from a community interest company
into a charitable incorporated organisation under the terms of the Charitable Incorporated Organisations (Conversion) Regulations. In the process of conversion, the organisation has changed its name to Cycling Club Hackney CIO. Meanwhile, the community amateur sports club called Cycling Club Hackney has been wound up and has gifted its assets to CC Hackney CiO

Interlinx CiC, was responsible for CC Hackney'sHQ/house and home as well as leading on fund raising
& community outreach. In 2017 was the ten year anniversary since founding in 2007. Our partner organisation
(CC Hackney) came into being later in the same year.

Ride, play and ride again. Two ICiC & CC Hackney supported youth groups visit Shakespeare's Globe Theatre

Saturday 11th March 2017 - 2pm
Cycling Club Hackney and Interlinkx CiC would like to thank Sported for alerting us and forwarding to our youth group leaders the entry pass tickets to see an excellent performance of William Shakespeare's; The Taming of the Shrew. It was at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre London SE1 and If it wasn't for this we'd most probably not of made it down to see it. After the show The Globe's education director Patrick Spottiswoode came on stage to thank everyone involved and especially the sponsors; The Deutche Bank's Corporate Citizenship Committee. All of our youngsters and adults enjoyed the visit and are keen to come back again, the Globe may well need more bike racks outside in future.

Ready for the ride home to Hackney, topped up with fine words, better than as the best food going!

Never heard this before... everyday phrases that came from the Bard William Shakespeare.

“BREAK THE ICE”: THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, ACT I, SCENE II

If it be so, sir, that you are the man must stead us all, and me amongst the rest, and if you break the ice and do this feat, achieve the elder, set the younger free for our access, whose hap shall be to have her will not so graceless be to be ingrate.” — Tranio (as Lucentio)

"FAIR PLAY": THE TEMPEST, ACT V, SCENE I

“Yes, for a score of kingdoms you should wrangle, and I would call it fair play.” — Miranda

On the way out for those that missed it on the last trip - we made time to check and respect the site of The Battle of Cable Street.
